Zoysiagrass Variety
Description: ‘BA-189’ is a zoysiagrass variety that when compared with standard varieties, has a faster growth rate, a finer leaf texture, and fewer and smaller seedheads. Like all fine-textured zoysiagrasses, it will scalp, but ‘BA-189’ has a faster rate of recovery. ‘BA-189’ does best at mowing heights equal to or less than 0.5in., and is best suited for use on golf course fairways, tees, and high value landscapes.
