Description: Captiva® ‘NUF-76’ is a fine bladed, dark green St. Augustine grass that exhibits tolerance to infestation by the southern chinch bug and the plant hopper. Specifically characterized by slow leaf blade growth, which reduces the need for mowing, Captiva® ‘NUF-76’ requires roughly 50% less maintenance than other St. Augustine grass varieties. Additionally, Captiva® ‘NUF-76’ reduces the need for pesticides to control chinch bugs and has good shade tolerance, making it perfectly suitable for home lawn applications.
