  • Description: ‘UFQueen’ is a regular bearer of early, large fruit in north central Florida, with an FDP of 95 days.  ‘UFQueen’ trees are semi-upright and are easily pruned to an open vase system.  The fruit have non-melting flesh with clingstone pits and yellow flesh color.  The fruit are slightly oval with a slight tip and develop 80–100% red skin over a yellow background.

    ‘UFQueen’ fruit ripen about 1 week after the standard ‘Sunraycer’ (unpatented) nectarine cultivar in mid-May in Gainesville, Florida.
